I ran across this poem tonight and it really opened my eyes. This side of heaven is the only place we can be the loving light of Christ that shines into this ever-present darkness. Once we enter the glorious realm of heaven-haste the day!-there will be no darkness to shine into; all will be alight with the eternal luminescence of the glory of God! Light-into-darkness is something we only get our season here on earth to do, so burn brightly for God’s glory with the deeds of light that shine into the darkness of despair!
